How to delete PDF pages without losing document context
Deleting PDF pages is useful when a scan includes blanks, duplicates, draft notes, or pages meant for a different recipient. The safest approach is to remove only the pages you have identified, keep at least one page, and review the downloaded copy before using it.

Identify the pages before removing them
Open the source PDF and decide which pages are truly unnecessary. Blank scan pages, accidental duplicates, separator sheets, or pages addressed to another person are common removal candidates.
Do not delete pages only because the thumbnail looks similar. Check the surrounding pages and the document's page numbers so you do not remove a cover, signature page, attachment, or reference that makes later pages understandable.

- List the page numbers you plan to remove.
- Check the page before and after every removal candidate.
- Keep the original PDF unchanged until the cleaned copy is accepted.
Remove pages in Delete PDF Pages
Choose the PDF and wait for the page previews. Remove each unwanted page with the page action shown on its card. If you remove the wrong page, use the undo action before creating the result.
PDFmint prevents creating an empty document. The tool is intentionally removal-only: it keeps the remaining pages in their existing order and does not rotate or rearrange them.
Deletion steps
- Choose the PDF in Delete PDF Pages.
- Remove only the pages you already identified.
- Use Undo if a page was removed by mistake.
- Save the new PDF after at least one page has been deleted.
Review the cleaned PDF from beginning to end
Open the downloaded PDF and compare its page count with the source minus the removed pages. Then read the transitions around every deletion point. The document should still introduce, explain, and conclude its subject without sudden gaps.
If you are sending the file to a client, authority, school, or colleague, check any internal references such as 'see page 8' or 'attached below'. Removing pages can make references inaccurate even when the PDF structure is valid.
Review checks
- The expected pages are gone.
- The remaining pages stay in the original order.
- References and attachments still make sense.
- The cleaned copy has a clear filename before sharing.
Keep removed pages private
In the current free service, Delete PDF Pages processes the selected file inside browser memory and does not send it to a PDFmint processing route. The active source, previews, and result are temporary browser state.
Deleting a page from the new copy does not manage the original file stored on your device. If a removed page is sensitive, keep track of where the source PDF and any older copies are saved.
