Current service notice

Documents are processed inside your browser

PDFmint is operated by Skentia Technologies, based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The nine available tools process selected PDFs and images in your browser memory and do not send those files to a PDFmint processing server. Compress, Protect, Unlock, and Redact are not currently offered. The privacy, legal, and support contact is info@pdfmintpro.com.

1. Scope

This notice applies to the PDFmint website and the nine document workspaces available in the current free service. It does not cover accounts, payments, or third-party integrations because those features are not part of the current service.

Opening a workspace, browsing the tool directory, or using its search does not select or upload a document.

2. Information the product handles

PDFmint handles only the information needed for the action you choose. The exact inputs depend on the workspace.

  • Documents or images you select, plus file names, sizes, page counts, and formats needed to validate and present them inside the browser.
  • Your chosen pages, order, rotations, quality, output format, marks, signatures, stamps, and other workspace settings.
  • The theme preference saved locally in your browser. Netlify may also receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, browser information, and timestamps, when serving website pages.

3. Where processing happens

All document operations in the nine available workspaces run locally in your browser memory. These tools do not send your files to a PDFmint processing route.

Netlify hosts and delivers the website pages and may receive ordinary connection data needed to do so, such as an IP address, request time, and browser information. The available workspaces do not send your documents to Netlify for processing.

4. Storage and retention

PDFmint has no account database or document library, and it does not send source or result files to a PDFmint server for storage.

Files, previews, and download objects remain in the current tab or workspace memory and are released when replaced, reset, consumed, or the tab closes. An approved compatible result handoff remains in browser memory for no more than ten minutes.

Files you download are stored wherever you choose on your own device and are then under your control.

5. Local preferences and cookies

PDFmint stores the light or dark theme choice in browser local storage so the preference can survive navigation and later visits.

The current service does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Netlify may retain security and operational connection records under its published policies; retention varies by record and service plan and is not set by PDFmint. We will update this notice and add any required consent choices before enabling advertising or analytics.

6. Why information is processed

Information is handled to provide the workspace action you request, validate inputs and outputs, show progress and recoverable errors, preserve product security, and make a result available for download or an optional compatible handoff.

The current product does not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or use document contents for marketing or analytics.

7. Sharing and international transfers

The current service has no advertising, analytics, marketing, or account provider. PDFmint does not intentionally disclose document contents to those categories.

Netlify delivers the website through a global content delivery network, so operational connection data may be processed or transferred outside your country. Netlify describes its transfer safeguards in its own privacy statement. The available workspaces do not send your documents to Netlify for processing.

8. Security

PDFmint uses bounded input validation, in-browser processing, and transient browser-memory state to reduce exposure. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Do not use the service with material you are not authorized to process. Avoid highly sensitive material if you do not accept the risks of processing it on your own device and browser.

9. Your choices, rights, and contact

You choose whether to select a file, start processing, download a result, or continue through an optional handoff. Resetting a workspace or closing the tab clears the related transient browser state; you control copies already downloaded to your device.

The current service has no account profile or saved document record to access or delete. For privacy, legal, support, or rights-related questions, contact info@pdfmintpro.com.

10. Changes to this notice

We may revise this notice as the product, production infrastructure, or applicable legal obligations become defined. The updated date will change when the notice changes materially.
