1. Use and acceptance
By using the free PDFmint service, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
This version provides nine document workspaces that process files inside the browser. Your files remain in browser memory during processing, and you choose whether to download the result.
Compress, Protect, Unlock, and Redact are not part of the current service and should not be relied on through old links.
3. Eligibility and authority
You may use the service if applicable law permits you to do so and you can agree to these conditions. If you use PDFmint for another person or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for them.
4. Your files and results
You retain responsibility for the files you select and the results you create. You must have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to process the material and must review every result before relying on, sharing, or deleting an original.
Keep your own backup. PDFmint is not a document archive, records-management system, or guaranteed recovery service. Downloaded files remain under your control.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use PDFmint to:
- break the law or violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or contractual rights;
- process material you are not authorized to access or modify;
- distribute malware, abusive content, or code intended to interfere with the product or another system;
- probe, overload, bypass, reverse engineer, or defeat security, file, page, rate, password, or compatibility controls except where applicable law expressly permits; or
- misrepresent a PDFmint result as certified, legally reviewed, securely erased, accessible, or fit for a purpose when the workspace does not make that promise.
6. Current security boundary
Protect PDF, Unlock PDF, and Redact PDF are not part of the current service. An old or direct link to one of those tools should not be treated as an available feature.
Signatures, stamps, and watermarks are visible marks only. PDFmint does not create a cryptographic digital signature, certificate, or identity verification.
7. Sample files
Built-in sample PDFs are synthetic demonstration material generated in browser memory. They are provided only to explore the interface and do not represent legal, financial, business, or professional documents.
8. Intellectual property
PDFmint and its interface, branding, original text, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of PDFmint.
You keep any rights you hold in files you select and grant only the temporary permission needed to perform your chosen action and make its result available.
9. Availability and changes
The service may change, pause, or experience failures. We may add or remove features or alter limits. We make no commitment to a specific uptime level, file preservation, or permanent backward compatibility.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation.
PDF operations can alter appearance, structure, searchability, accessibility, signatures, permissions, metadata, or file size. The workspace disclosures and your own review determine whether a result is suitable for your purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Skentia Technologies is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service, including lost files, data, business, or opportunity. Mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
The liability terms and any monetary cap remain subject to qualified legal review.
12. Suspension or termination
Access may be restricted or ended when needed to protect the service, users, rights holders, or systems; to investigate misuse; or to comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service evolves. The updated date will change for material revisions, and continued use after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law and contact
PDFmint is operated by Skentia Technologies, based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. For legal, support, or dispute questions, contact info@pdfmintpro.com first. No specific court venue is designated; the competent venue is determined under applicable UAE law. This does not limit mandatory rights that apply.
